While all are welcome, this retreat is designed for the adult men of WELS/ELS churches. Fathers are encouraged to bring their sons 16 years or older.
The Men's Retreat is the 10+ year project of a group of men from Salem Lutheran in Stillwater, and from churches affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, to provide opportunities for WELS/ELS men to be spiritually fed through God's Word. We seek to connect the men of the St. Croix conference to each other and impart to them a deeper thirst for and understanding of God’s Word and its application in their vocations. Each year, a learned speaker is invited to teach in the context of the northwoods. Camp Croix has been the host location for the Men’s Retreat since 2018.
