Fall Women’s Retreat

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27

Perfectly Placed: Embracing Your God-Given Strengths

October 3–5 | Camp Croix

Just like a bouquet of wildflowers, we are uniquely created, intentionally gifted, and perfectly placed by our Creator. “But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be” (1 Corinthians 12:18). The unique beauty of each bloom—imperfections and all—is enhanced by the others as they are arranged to create something truly special. Join us this fall at Camp Croix for a women’s retreat focused on celebrating the beautiful diversity of God-given strengths within us.

Our guest speaker, Emily Krill, is the founder and facilitator of Messy Worship, a ministry dedicated to helping people discover their God-given strengths and connect with God in the everyday messy moments of life. Emily is a wife, mom of five boys, singer for the CCM band His Way, and writer for Time of Grace ministry.

This retreat will incorporate the Clifton StrengthsFinder tool to help you discover and reflect on your personal strengths. If you need access to the book and assessment, please let us know during registration. Partner work will be integrated into our sessions, making this a wonderful opportunity to bring a friend you'd like to connect with on a deeper level. Come as you are—real, authentic, messy, and perfectly imperfect—and leave refreshed, seen, and empowered in who God created you to be.

Registration is $120 and includes all (5) meals, lodging, and materials. Spaces are limited!

The first annual women’s retreat was hosted in 2021 by the Women’s Group of Faith Lutheran, River Falls. The Women’s Retreat encourages us to walk in faith together, refreshes us by reminding us of God’s grace, and gives a wonderful opportunity for fellowship with our sisters in Christ. We hope to create a small, welcoming experience, so availability will be limited!
