Rest & Rise

October 2-4 | Camp Croix

Join us for a weekend of rest in the promises of the Bread of Life, as we deepen our understanding of the kneading of the pressures of life, through which Christ shapes us from a meager dough in His hands to a masterpiece fit for a King, as we offer our lives in service to others. 

Our speaker, Amanda Bielke, will be leading us through four sessions of God’s Word - each one focused on connecting an essential step of the bread-making process to how God gives us rest (Psalm 46:10), kneads us (James 1), and how we rise in him (Isaiah 60:1) to shine and nourish those around us (Matthew 5:16). Amanda is a “relationship coach, educator, speaker, NLP practitioner, podcaster, connector, soul driven, wife, mom and BFF who’s always willing to listen.” Learn more about Amanda on her website.

The rest of the weekend is filled with worship, fellowship, prayer walks, time in the outdoors, crafts, and incredible food. Whether you come with a sister or a friend or come alone, you will leave with lifelong relationships and a closer walk with your Savior.

    • Bible

    • Comfortable and weather appropriate clothing for both indoor and outdoor activities

    • Personal toiletries and towels

    • Bedding - Cabins have twin mattresses, and lodge rooms have full mattresses. Be sure to bring appropriately sized sheets and comforter (or sleeping bag) and a pillow. You will be emailed with lodging assignments.

    • Some of the provided activities at camp include kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, games, puzzles, and hiking trails. Feel free to bring anything you would like to enjoy your stay.

    • All meals will be provided. You may bring any snacks or beverages.

    Mothers are encourage to register their daughters 18 and older.

  • Camp Croix is located in Danbury WI, just a little over two hours northeast of the Twin Cities. Supported by WELS churches, surrounded by 160 acres of forest, and boasting 2,100 feet of lakeshore along Lake Rooney, Camp Croix hosts six weeks of youth ministry, plus family camp, men's, women's, and college retreats, conferences, and other events throughout the year.

    For weekend retreaters, sleeping accommodations include the lodge and four-bunk cabins. There are also a number of spots for RVs with power and water connections. Please let us know if you would like to bring a camper or other RV.
